zombie geomview again

Well, sure enough, geomview really does seem non-functional
when running with a remote display under Irix 4.0. I suspect that
FORMS is not processing events properly; providing a file from the
command line worked, but interactive motion controls were ineffective
and it didn't seem possible to load a file from a popup.

If at all possible, run geomview on the local display and
somehow make your system's files accessible from the machine you're
sitting at. (Do you have NFS?)

Even though geomview really ought to work on a remote display, graphics
performance would probably not be too good. You'll probably do better
accessing the files over the net, than continually redrawing the display
over the net.

Let us know what happens...

  Stuart
