geomview

Lee,
Nose is indeed undocumented; it's a little module I wrote for
testing the picking facility in geomview. To use it, fire it up as
you did. Nothing visual will happen. But now you can double-click
with the RIGHT mouse button on objects in the camera window and nose
(which is an external unix process) will draw a little cube at the
point you click at; the cursor must be over an object in the window.
Play around with clicking on faces vs edges vs vertices; nose knows
which is which and does different things accordingly.
It isn't really intended to be a useful program other than an
example of how to interface with geomview and use the picking
facility.
I don't know what would have caused geomview to crash the first
time you used it. If you can reproduce the behavior let us know.
