Geomview

Hi,  I have been using geomview this summer.  I have a set of stationary
obstacles and a moving object.  I have to animate the motion of the moving
object until it collides with one of the stationary objects.  I have been
able to do this statically by displaying the moving object at all time
instances.  

I ran into problems when I tried to set up a unix pipe from another program
to geomview.  The pipe I have can send input to the stdin of the child
process.  However, it does not seem to work with geomview. I can spawn geomview
as a process but it does not take commands this way. 

I was wondering if someone can help me set this up.  It would be also be very
helpful if I can see some code which does this.
