I've been making the suggested changes for creating tar files for easy installation - I noticed that BINFILES.whatever (which is created by hand) must also specify itself if a new version of the bin tar files are to be created from the unpacked and compiled version of the old tar files. I'm changing it for my stuff, but I think this problem may exist for other people too. -Celeste
