some problems with rman files

  • To: software

I saved two versions of an object in geomview (loaded with the 4dviewer)

One file stcloseup0000.tiff was with smooth shading, the other should be exactly
the same with flat shading: stcloseupflat0000

Both files rendered exactly the same. In fact I made a movie of the two tiff framand played it--no differnce between the files.

Yet diff shows:

noneuclid 206% diff stcloseup0000.rib stcloseupflat0000.rib

Both tiff files are flat shaded.

I'm not sure where the problem lies.
