polymerge

Here's what happened:
banach 84% cd
[2]  + Done                 gv
[1]  + Done                 gv
banach 85% cd st

So that's the directory,  then here's what happened:

banach 87% anytooff <st.mar23>st.mar23any.off
banach 88% polymerge <stmar23any.off>stmar23.4off
stmar23any.off: No such file or directory
banach 89% polymerge <st.mar23any.off>stmar23.4off
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
banach 90% ls -l st*  
-rw-r--r--   1 roseman  geom     2277466 Mar 23 08:19 st.mar23
-rw-rw-r--   1 roseman  geom     2376633 Jul 27 14:17 st.mar23any.off

etc etc.

So polymerge did not seem to like the file--have no time now to further investigate.
