To whom it may concern:  

We are attempting to develop a mapping package that will exploit different
DMA Databases (WVS, ADRG, DTED) and allow the user to draw 3-D polygons
or images on top of this map.  I read the article in Unix Review (july 1993)
and I was wondering if I might be able to receive more information on GRASS.

Any information you might be able to provide would be useful.  Also I am
curious about a couple of things:  
        1) What platforms are supported for GRASS? Sun? SGI? HP?
        2) Is there a toolkit version or support for GRASS?
        3) Could Real-Time applications be developed from GRASS?
