Re: Geomview benchmarks



Ooops, I looked at the first (lowest) nubers, instead of
the mean. The more correct numbers are:

ALR Evolution V  230      912   145	sirius  (60MHz Pentium PC, NS 3.1)

Here is a log of when I ran the benchmark. I did not
reboot the computer or log out, but I hid everything 

on the screen as well as I could. I suggest putting the 

test window somewhere else, since it overlaps with
the open Application icons on NEXTSTEP. I moved
those somewhere else for the duration of the test.

Three tests follow.  Estimate speeds for each one by watching
the 'mean' column of the timing messages.  Watch for the times
to approach a constant value, ignoring any startup transient.
Note: the computer should be idle while running this test.
Conditions: 200x200 pixel window, reporting every 4 frames.
