mouse in geomview

I noticed some strange behavior with the mouse.
(This was on an indigo XS24 it says.)

I've noticed several times in rotate mode that I might be holding the middle
button down, but nothing happens when I move the mouse. I finally figured
out today that this happens if I click down the middle button just before
lifting up the left button--it seems it doesn't correctly switch modes
if it gets "down-up" instead of "up-down".

Then I started playing around. If I click both buttons down, and move the
mouse, nothing happens. If I then release the left button while I'm moving,
the object starts spinning around the camera axis (but I have no control
while I still hold down the middle button. If while keeping the middle
button down I now press the left button, a weird motion starts.

None of this counts as a real bug, but I found it all a bit curious.
