I also have a motif source licence and I did compile it under linux.
In the first attempt I had a lot of problems because the binaries
always crashed.
Then, after a few minutes of using gdb to debug mwm I just found that
if I added a -DNO_MULTIBYTE flag in the config file everything would
work fine (at least I didn't found any problems).
