Re: [Update REQ 5040]: [t93827ya at sfc.keio.ac.jp: [Q] W3Kit]

Hi -- did you get my response to your question a couple of weeks ago?
Here it is again:

===========================================================================
I notice (from the gcc 2.6.0 compiler source) that gcc will compile
modules tagged with as "version 5" runtime if it's set to produce a
NeXT-style objective-C calling sequence.  Meanwhile, libobjc.a always
considers itself version 6. This seems like a pretty serious problem in
gcc 2.6.0.

So, a possible workaround might be to always compile with the
  -fgnu-runtime
flag on gcc, set in OBJCFLAGS the makefiles/Makedefs.* file(s).
===========================================================================

So, please try compiling W3Kit but adding the "-fgnu-runtime" flag to
the setting of OBJCFLAGS in the files makefiles/Makedefs.*,
and let us know how it behaves.
