The remote-display feature works by rsh (remote-shell)'ing from the
machine where Mathematica is running, into the machine you're sitting at.

For remote display to work, "math2oogl" and "geomview" must be on
the machine where you're sitting, in some directory which is in the UNIX
search path of commands started by rsh.

Typically the environment for rsh'd commands is established by reading
your .cshrc file but NOT reading .login -- so if you say something about
"set path = (...)" in .login, try moving it to .cshrc.

You could test the path setting by typing something like

   rsh yourmachine 'echo $path'

(note the single quotes). Here "yourmachine" is the one at whose console
you sit, not the one running Mathematica.

Alternatively, /usr/local/bin is probably in the default path for rsh'd
commands even if your .cshrc doesn't set it, so things might work if
geomview and math2oogl are placed in /usr/local/bin (assuming they aren't
already there).

Let us know if you still have trouble or if this explanation doesn't make sense!

   Stuart
