Oh, sorry, that's src/bin/geomview/x11/O.sgi/Makefile
rather than src/lib/geomview/x11/O.sgi/Makefile.

Here's an extract of the mail I'd sent a couple of weeks ago:

I just tried this and got something; had to create a geomview/x11/O.sgi
directory and put a Makefile in it which is almost the same as
in geomview/x11/O.x11/Makefile.  Namely geomview/x11/O.sgi/Makefile now reads:

GEOM = ../../../../..
include ${GEOM}/makefiles/Makedefs.global
include ../Makedefs
include ../../common/Makedefs.common
include ${GEOM}/makefiles/Makerules.obj
include ${MKDEPFILE}

# MORECOPTS = -Wf,-XNl4096 -DMGX11
MORECOPTS = -Wf,-XNl4096 -Dlight_ui -DMGGL

MALLOCLIB = -lmalloc
#MALLOCLIB = -lmallocdebug

XMLIBS = -lmib ${SYSXLIBS}
XMGLLIBS = -lXirisw -lmib -lgl_s ${SYSXLIBS}
