I don't think it's a bug that you can't see anything; a zero-size
polygon shouldn't be a single pixel, it really should be invisible.
A tiny polygon should be invisible unless its coordinates span the center
of some pixel.

The normalization code should probably be fixed to do nothing if
a bounding box has zero size.  OK, I just did that, and re-installed gv
on the Irises, though not elsewhere.  This doesn't seem like a big enough
bug that it needs to be fixed for the 1.5 release.
