[ REQ 5312]: display depth

I tried to run geomview with nothing on the command line, viz. "geomview".

It said

Xgeomview currently supports only 24, 8, and 1 bit
        deep displays.  No supported display depth was found.
        Please mail the output of "xdpyinfo" to
        software@geom.umn.edu

The output from xdpyinfo follows the message.

I have HP 9000/720 with greyscale graphics (I think it's called GRX).
I'm running HP-UX 9.05.
