[ REQ 5422]: Measuring in Geomview?

Hello:

I was wondering if there is any way to measure in Geomview.
Simple Pt-Pt and three point arc stuff.  Has anyone
investigated adding this?  Can someone tell me where I
might start?  I would like to use Geomview to evaluate
3-D models created in CAD and have written a translator
to convert STL files to OFF format.  Unfortunately, it
won't do much good if I can't make simple measurements
on the model.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
