Message from butz at dfki.uni-sb.de follows:

Hi, I'm currently looking for interesting 3D objects
of technical devices. Since the models I found on sites
like Avalon are mostly .3DS or .OBJ files, I think a
converter to OOGL would be very handy. Before I start
writing one, I just wanted to ask you if there's maybe
alteady a converter from any foreign 3D format to OOGL.
If this is the case, could you please send me a pointer
to it? Otherwise I'll inform you as soon as I've got
a running version. (could take some time...;-)

	Andreas
