Geomview For Windows?

Re: [Closed REQ 5552]: X-Geomview module pssnap trouble
Sorry about this. There's a bug in the geomview libraries which can occasionally cause this kind of trouble -- or frequently cause it, if you have a hierarchy containing many small objects (like a LIST of many OFFs, as your error message suggests.) I'll try to fix this for the next release. Meanwhile there is a somewhat awkward workaround (short of changing your own software to consolidate the items directly). Save the geomview object to be printed into a disk file, say "old.oogl". (If you use the Geomview Save panel, be sure to use one of the "save as geometry" choices, not "save as commands".) Run the program "anytooff": anytooff old.oogl > new.oogl Now run geomview on new.oogl, which will contain a single giant OFF object. PSSnap should have no trouble reading that. Stuart
