[ REQ 5621]: disable centering

Hi -

How do I disable automatic centering of objects I'm adding to the scene?

Simple case:
Object a.off has its coordinate origin at -10 0 0
Object b.off has its coordinate origin at 10 0 0

Reading in a.off centers it at world origin
Adding b.off centers it at world origin

Objects a.off and b.off now share the same space - not my intention.

I want to read in several pre-positioned objects and have them keep their
relative positions.
