[ REQ 5659]: Geomview 24, 8 or 1 bit -> How about 16 bit



I use Linux and Geomview (great great program - love your work).
One problem is that running X in 16 bit colors, Geomview complains
that only 1,8 and 24 bit are supported. Geomview tells me to mail 
the output of 'xdpyinfo', which is below. Can something be done ??
