Hi.  If you're not encountering problems, upgrading is not a big deal.
There are some new features which might be relevant to somebody:
  -- ability to switch to single-buffered mode, relevant for taking
	screen snapshots
  -- Working versions of some modules, like Crayola
  -- New labeler which creates nice vector text
  -- New INST features for effectively pasting things onto the screen,
       useful for on-screen labeling
  -- VRML translators
  -- Improved anytooff which accounts for appearance settings
  -- Remote Maple graphics
  -- Texture mapping
  -- Appearance attributes for concave polygons, Bezier-patch dicing,
	back-face culling
  -- Resizable Motif panels

But if you don't need these, that's fine.
