A couple of people have talked about compiling geomview under one of the
UNIX variants that run on Macintosh hardware -- MkLinux or MachTen.
We don't have either, and haven't heard from anyone who's actually
done it, but it might well work. Note, however, that it may be more-or-less
poorly integrated with the Mac environment. In MkLinux, it appears to
be able to deal with a Mac file system, but Macintosh applications
can't run at the same time as MkLinux ones do; in MachTen, it appears
to be possible to run both Unix and MacOS programs concurrently.

Porting geomview to be a native MacOS program might be possible, but it's
a lot of work, and we don't intend to do it. However, some people here
are working on creating a version of geomview for Windows 95/NT.
