Folks,

I'm using Geomview.  One drawback to its usage is the lack of immediately 
available format converters from other filetypes into oogl (e.g., .off).  I have
performed a quick 10 minute hack to some software obtained from Jon Cohen/Univ. 
N. Carolina (source of Simplification Envelopes code).  Their copyright allows 
ready modification and re-distribution.  My hack converts PLY files (common 
amongst Cyberware users) to OFF files.  

If you would like me to upload it to you for your further distribution to the 
world, I would be delighted.  There are merely 3 modules:
   - ply2off.c
   - plyfile.c
   - ply.h
