[Closed REQ 6877]: JPEG files

> How do I save a picture created in Geomview as a JPEG file? Thanks,

You can't save a file as a JPEG directly. The image file formats that
Geomview can save directly are SGI (RGB) and PPM. You can save it in
one those two formats and then use any image conversion package to
change that picture into JPEG format. There are many free image
conversion packages for Unix, like the ImageMagick package from SDSC.

Hope this helps,
 Tamara
