Well -- little work is being done on geomview now, alas. I've been
struggling even to get it to run usefully under Linux with recent
compilers -- egcs 1.0 generates bad code from something we do with
variable-length arg lists.

However, if that obstacle can be evaded, I would like to get it to
do quad-buffered stereo. It'd be very nice to make it work on
some nice Linux hardware. Do you know whether there's any support
for stereo in the NVidia X server, and if so, how it works -- e.g. does
the server offer stereo-capable X visuals? I don't yet have any TNT-based
card, so I can't check.
