Tamara, thanks for your response about Geomview; you're absolutely right that
slides are a zero-th approximation of an animation, but I didn't want to ask
for too much...

My next presentation on this subject is towards the end of September, so if
you have anything in the pipeline, this is when I'd like it. However, my
presentation has a dual-stream organization, with one stream being text slides
that say what is happening and the other stream being slides or projected
video that carries the visual mathematical content, and I'd need time to make
the appropriate text slides (at least a couple of weeks, since I have to get
the slides made off-campus). So I guess I'd like to ask for the tiling
snippet whenever is convenient for you (gee, "snippet" is a lovely and much
under-used word) and to be kept in mind for whatever else you might have when
it's ready. The student works would also be interesting, of course.

Thanks again, and I'd like to keep in touch with your group's work as my own
presentation continues to evolve. Is there any chance that you'll be at
SIGGRAPH '92 in Chicago next month so we could say hello there?
