GeomView <--> Mathematica (on a Macintosh)

We are interested in interfacing between Mathematica, running
on a Macintosh, and GeomView (on our SGI). I attempted to load
the OOGL.m file into Mathematica and do a WriteOOGL on my
Graphics3D object, but was unsuccessful in creating the data
file (output). It appears that the OOGL.m file is expecting to
be loaded into a version of Mathematica running on a Unix-type
machine.... Questions:

o Can the OOGL.m file be modified so as to enable creation of
  OOGL files *on the Macintosh*?

o Would any other modifications be necessary?

o Is there any other information that I should know with regards
to working between a Mac and GeomView on the SGI?

Thank you very much for your assistance.
