GeomView Related Question

I am a member of a new visualization research group at the University of
Oregon. We've recently been examining some of the software packages which
are currently available, one such package being GeomView. While reading
the documentation which accompanies GeomView, I came across a reference to
XGL. In particular, it is mentioned that a Sun X-windows version of
GeomView is under development and will be using XGL. Since we've recently
purchased an Iris Indigo and would like any work done with GL to be
transportable, XGL is of great interest to our group. However, I have
been unable to find additional references to XGL. Could you supply me
with any information? Is XGL publicly available? If so, from whom?

Any and all information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tom May
