Re: problem? in current NeXT geomview

What does the (/usr/local/bin?)/geomview file look like?

The version in the ftp directory (geomview/geomview-next.tar)
since early August creates a Geomview.app/bin/next/geomview which looks like
this:

#! /bin/sh
exec /<wherever>/Geomview.app/Geomview ${1+"$@"}

This version shouldn't suffer from the problem you describe.
Maybe you have an old copy of the "geomview" shell script still present?

The instructions in /.../Geomview.app/README.next tell you to copy the files in
Geomview.app/bin/next into (e.g.) /usr/local/bin, or some other directory
in users' paths. (It doesn't do that itself, since it can't tell where they
should be placed.)

This is a pretty unpleasant situation -- I couldn't find any way to make the
Installer ask a question, or even to notify the user that there's more work
to do after it's finished "installing". Does anything spring to mind, anybody?
