I should remember this but don't -- does your Next have a NextDimension board?

Graphics under 3.1 seems more stable than under 3.0 -- except on the
nextdimension, where geomview crashes the window server pretty promptly,
we don't yet know why or where.  I sometimes see the same "DPS client library
error: Invalid port" errors under 3.0, and generally then kill off geomview
before it can kill the window server.  Yeah, that's not much comfort.  

Don't think we've received 3.2 yet though some on the net report having it.
