Geomview: Wrong Colors

  Dear Geomview-Developers,
 
 we just upgraded from Geomview 1.3.1 to Geomview 1.4.1, using the SGI
 binary distribution on SGI Indigos. We use Geomview mainly as a display
 front end for the Surface Evolver.
 
 Unfortunately, there are problems with the colors that were not present
 in release 1.3.1. Especially with a white background, face color changes
 have little or no effect (except for a sometimes short flash of the 
 desired color) and the objects are transparent or pale purple.
 
 Please let us know, if this is a known bug, and if there is any fix for
 it.
