In the source distribution, the manual pages are installed into a
directory specified by the MANDIR macro in the file
$GEOMROOT/makefiles/mk.site.default. By default this is
/usr/local/man, so if you ran "make install" without changing the
value of MANDIR, look for the cat1 and cat5 manual pages in
/usr/local/man/{cat1,cat5}.

In the binary distribution, the cat1 and cat5 manual pages come
(already formatted) in the man/cat1 and man/cat5 subdirectories.
