Two possibilities:
- You might get the "geomview" call to work if you
setenv DISPLAY :0
before running it.
Also, omit the "-wins 0"; there needs to be a window present.
Naturally you'll want to check that no one is logged in on abel or
whichever machine before running it, since a window will appear.
- You could instead use something like
oogl2rib -n thing.tiff -B .18,.14,.14 -w 640 -h 480 thing.off >thing.rib
