geomview

I am writing to ask if the transparency feature in Geomview has been 
implemented yet or not.  It is not in the version I have, and it would be 
extremely useful to me in the work I am doing currently.  If it is not, do you
have any idea when it might be?  Also, when I first copied geomview, I signed
up to be on the mailing list, but I have not received anything.  So I would
like to know if there is a way to check to see if I am on the mailing list 
or not.
