Subject: Using Geomview
Please register me. I am evaluating v1.5 at this time for use
in visualizing geometries.
Can you send me an example of several transparent objects.
Objects which do have some color, but allow the user to see through
them to the objects behind.
Can your oogl parsing routines be removed from geomview and
used as the geometry input into another piece of software? Or,
is the file format stable enough to allow other routines to be written
for this purpose?
Do you plan to implement volume representations or rely on surface
representations? The difference here, as I see it, would be in
file input for a cube. Volume representations would only require
the two far corners, geomview would calculate the 6 faces. Am I
approaching this incorrectly? Could you simply reference the cube.off
geometry and use the transform statement?
I would like to work with someone there to create several 'close to home'
examples. Would this be possible?
Paul
