Hello,

Can you use the Bezier data type, which is converted into a Mesh for
drawing? It's convenient because you can control the dicing level at
run-time to control the number of polygons drawn.

We recently made a video about turning a sphere inside out. We've got
a Geomview module which includes some relatively large Bezier data
files available via anonymous ftp at geom.umn.edu as
priv/munzner/outsidein.tar.Z.

You shouldn't need to turn the dicing level up very far to get beyond
10,000 polygons.
