Oh, ah.  There's a very unfortunate feature of the OFF object: unlike
all the other object types, line breaks *are* significant in the description
of a face, since the presence or absence of a color is determined by
whether a newline appears .  So you could say

(geometry block { OFF
	3 1 1  
	0 1 0
	1 0 0
	0 0 1
	3 0 1 2
})

or even

(geometry block { OFF  3 1 1  0 1 0  1 0 0  0 0 1
3 0 1 2
})

(with a newline just following each face description)
and it should work.
