Stuart,

Thanks for the tips -- they were a huge help.  You have saved me a lot
of time and frustration.  You see, I'm trying to see whether or not
Geomview can be used to graphically display some information from
nuclear physics experiments (ie using Geomview to construct detectors and 
calorimeters for program simulators).

I would like to commend all you who have come up with Geomview, because
it is one of the easiest softwares I've worked with via keyboard.  For
me, that is super-cool because I prefer to use the keyboard over the
mouse.  With Geomview, the keystrokes are easy to remember and they're
not some horrible sequence of keys either.
