[ REQ 5525]: Geomview's internal image.

Hello,

I am using X - Geomview on a DEC-alpha with an 8-bit screen, and I would
like to obtain a 24 bit dump of the image. I have the source, and I am
a competent C/C++ programmer, so could you tell me if/where geomview
constructs the 24 bit image before fitting it to the 8-bit colourmap?

Do you have anything that can do this for me?
