For old-version (Softimage 1.6) files, there's "soft2oogl".
There's no man page (though I'm writing one), but it has a
usage message.  Basically you just say
	soft2oogl scenefile.scn > file.oogl

For our current version of softimage (2.62), we have no good converters.
Softimage 2.62 itself has a "DXF export" option which saves a wire-frame
.dxf file; you could then use /u/ftp/priv/slevy/dxf2oogl to produce a
(probably) geomview-viewable file.
