[ REQ 6665]: Geomview on Linux - colormap problem

Hi,

I am using Geomview 1.6.1, downloaded as a binary from your site,
with Redhat 5.0 Linux.

Whenever I try something involving a colormap (e.g. call the colormap
or crayola external modules), I get
/usr/local/Geomview/modules/linux/emodule_wish: can't load library
'libtcl.so.1'
Since there is a libtcl.so in my /usr/lib, I tried creating a link called
libtcl.so.1 to it; after that, the message changes to
/usr/local/Geomview/modules/linux/emodule_wish: can't load library 'libtk.so.1'
After fixing THAT link, I get
/usr/local/Geomview/modules/linux/emodule_wish: can't resolve symbol '__xstat'
which is beyond me.
Can you help? Do I have some library incompatibilities (even though I have
a perfectly standard Linux installation)?
Thanks a lot,

Martin Zapotocky
