[ REQ 6685]: I cannot use geomview.

X-Geomview currently supports only 24, 16, 8, and 1 bit
        deep displays.  No supported display depth was found.
        Please mail the output of "xdpyinfo" to
        software@geom.umn.edu

I would like to use geomview.
I installed geomview to my linux system.
I use Think Pad 600.
But I cannot use geomview because of the previous error.
What should I do?
