[ REQ 6839]: Geomview problems

Hi,

I wrote earlier today regarding a download of the binary version of
Geomview for HPUX 10.2...  I have not had success in getting it to work or
getting the src version to compile. 

I tried getting a binary version of geomview to work on a Redhat 5.2
release (i.e. I downloaded the binary linux version to a linux machine)
and it failed as well with the error:

X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  1 (X_CreateWindow)
  Serial number of failed request:  1317
  Current serial number in output stream:  1324


To be compared with the failure on hpux:

X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  1 (X_CreateWindow)
  Serial number of failed request:  1240
  Current serial number in output stream:  1254


Anything you can do to help me out here would be greatly appreciated.  I
used Geomview several years ago to make an event display for a particle
physics experiment.  I would like to use it again for another
experiment...
