You can position an object absolutely with the "transform-set" command
(i.e. "(transform-set id { 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1})"). You
could compute the proper transforms yourself and read them from a
file.
A more efficient way of interactively getting the current transform
out of geomview is to use the "write transform" command. (i.e.
"(write transform id filename)" ). The save state saves off
information about the entire world, which is much more than you're
interested in.
"animate" simply takes a number of data files and plays them quickly
in sequence. The usage message is all the documentation there is.
