Yes, there's a Sun Sparc version available via ftp from geom.umn.edu
in pub/software/geomview. 

geomview-sun.x11-beta.tar.Z:
                    A beta release of an X windows version of Geomview
                    compiled for Sun4.  This version is very preliminary.
                    If you get this, be sure to read the file README-beta
                    after unpacking it.

That would be great. We have a site visit by our funding agency coming
up, and could really use such a letter if it came within the next
