"gv" on SGI's updated

.. to fix two bugs:
   - the (normalization ...) command was broken (and has been since Sept '92!).
     The net effect was that "all" and "keep" keywords were interpreted as
     "each" and "none" respectively.  This interfered with John Sullivan's
     self-similar-curve-shortening flow demonstration.

   - Geomview couldn't be reached via named pipes (-M and -Mc options)
	if an ordinary disk file already existed with the same name as the pipe.


Both changes affect ONLY "gv".  "geomview" still invokes the old version.
