Though this doesn't address the real problem, a note:  +evert is on by
default in geomview anyway.  I guess there's no button for it in the NeXT
version, but it's controlled by the "av" keyboard sequence.  Typing "0av"
should change the appearance if you're looking at the wrong side of something.
But it only changes the sense of normals (+/- 180 degrees), not their
direction.
