Re: 4MESH data types



For the record -- 4uMESH and 4uvMESH ought to work.  I haven't looked into
this yet, but it sure sounds like a bug.  A quick look at the code didn't
find anything suspicious.  With luck it may be a bug specific to in the NeXT
driver, so may not affect your videotaping.


Note also: linktube has an option (-p) to generate vanilla, non-wrapped meshes,
i.e. to do itself what you're doing by hand.  The disadvantage is that
geomview can't compute normals correctly, so you see a seam along some
longitude and latitude lines.
