Rats.  Yes, I guess it is a known problem (related to an uninitialized
variable).  We don't see it when running this binary on our Suns (SunOS 4.1.1),
but maybe the different library environment under Solaris evokes the bug.

I've updated the geomview-1.4.3-sun.x11-beta.tar.Z with a repaired version;
you can either grab that, or pick up gvx-1.4.3-sun.gz from priv/slevy
on geom.umn.edu.  (The gvx-1.4.3-sun is just a compressed executable,
not a tar file.)
