The command that starts a continuing rotation is:
   (transform-incr  objectname  centername  cameraname  rotate  x y z time)
(where "transform-incr" and "rotate" are typed literally, and all the
other fields are names or numbers).
If you express (interest (transform-incr)) you'll see large numbers of these
whenever you move the mouse.

and labeler-src.tar.Z is a geomview external-module which turns
text strings into polygons, using a Display Postscript server.  It's
SGI-specific.  There's also a simple vector font, with just upper-case
letters and digits, in the form of a bunch of Geomview handles; see 
ftp://geom.umn.edu/priv/slevy/geomview-alphabet.oogl.
